This dream is but a nightmare
Because you aren't here at all
I need to wake up from this dream
Just so I can hear your voice call
This dream is but a fantasy
A world that has gone dark and dim
My mind is racing trying to comprehend
Why it is I'm feeling so blue and grim
I need to wake up from this horrible dream
And look at your deep dark brown eyes
For when I do I'll know everything is all right
And I would know those dreams are lies
