A Life Together

Often do I sit in loneliness

Crying out these tears of rain

Thinking of the one I love 

And wanting to get rid of this pain

To spend my life with him

Oh a grand dream to be had

I hope one day it'll come true

So happiness will replace the sad

I know he feels the same as I 

For he has told me many times

We both crave one another 

And that's how the bells of life chimes

One day we'll get to embrace 

And be able to feel each others hearts

We'll know the love we always wanted

And that's when our life together starts

I Didn't Think

I didn't think I could love again

Because it wasn't accepted in the past

It was thrown away like it was garbage 

And the love I had did not last

I didn't think someone could love me

Since I don't have much to offer him

But my someone finally came into my life

And it's not some kind of passing whim

I didn't think I would want a life

With a man that has become my all

He's my everything and so much more

And it was for him that I finally did fall

Bipolar

There are days that I have my ups

And there are days that I have my downs

I cannot tell the nature of my being 

It could easily go from a smile to a frown

Sometimes I'll wake up in a very good mood

But all it takes is one little item to set me off

This is what it means to be Bipolar 

And I know many of you will scoff

Try having mood swings at a drop of a dime

When one minute you're happy, the next you're sad

Try explaining yourself to people who don't understand

When they mention it wasn't that long ago you were glad

There are days that I have my ups

And there are days that I have my downs

The difference is that I am seeking the help I need

So hopefully you'll see so much more than my frown!

I recall the images in my head

I crave what I have dreamed 

And I remember everything that was said

Because he made my heart melt

She Wants

She wants to be beautiful 

But she hates the look of her face

She wants to feel like she's worthy

But she wonders if that could be her grace

She wants to be loved forever

But wonders if her doubt will destroy it

She wants to share her soul with him

But she wonders if his will be the perfect fit

She wants to show him her heart

But fears that it won't be enough

She wants to share her life with him 

But wonders if her dreams with him will be tough

She wants so much more in life

But she wonders if she is worthy at all

She wants to show him what he means to her

And hopes he'll catch her when she does fall
