Recipe for the Christmas Spirit

Take a heap of child-like wonder
That opens up our eyes
To the unexpected gifts in life—
Each day a sweet surprise. Mix in fond appreciation
For the people whom we know;
Like festive Christmas candles,
Each one has a special glow.

Add some giggles and some laughter,
A dash of Christmas food,
(Amazing how a piece of pie
Improves our attitude!)

Stir it all with human kindness;
Wrap it up in love and peace,
Decorate with optimism, and
Our joy will never cease.

If we use this healthy recipe,
We know we will remember
To be in the Christmas spirit,
Even when it's not December.

I miss you and wish you could share my life

You picked me up from the ground
showed me your love
helped me understand my life
You showed me the different world
You loved me with all your heart
You love me when I am mad
You love me was I am sad
You love me when I cry
You love me when I lost my mind
and have no idea who I am
I know you love me,
you love me with all your heart
and for that I want to thank you
from the bottom of my heart.

I feel free
 When I am with you
 I feel my dreams come true
 Your loving touch is like heaven
 I am grateful what you have given
 When you hug me and kiss me
 I feel so calm, so happy and free
 Free from heartache and feel so glee
 I give away my heart to let you know
 I care about you and love you so
 My feelings are true and only for you

I Am Shunned

I am shunned for my beliefs,

But do I care what they say?

Who says what they believe is true?

Who says the night can't be day?

I am shunned, but I care not,

Because I know my faith is strong.

I have the love of my family and friends.

I don't see how that makes me so wrong!

So what if my beliefs differ from yours.

Doesn't make you all the wiser.

I have my faith and you have yours.

So stop treating me like some old miser!

My love beliefs are different from mine,

But he never once asked me to change.

I love him just as he is, beliefs and all!

And no, that doesn't make me strange.

The rain started to fall all around
As we danced in the pale moonlight

I pulled your body oh so close
Until I could feel the pounding of your heart
We are melting into each other as one

Out of The Darkness...

I started to walk to the end of the tunnel

But you grabbed my hand and said, "don't go"

I looked at you and I looked at the light I saw

And I said, "you can come with me too you know"

You grabbed me and pulled me in an embrace

You then said, "no, my angel we belong here"

I smiled at you and you hugged me tighter

I then said, "but would anyone really care?"

You gave me that look and you nodded your head

You pointed to the scene beyond our sight

You said, "look, they cry for me and you"

"Please, my angel do not go into that light."

I started to cry but you brushed away my tears

You pulled me closer and said you loved me so

I looked one last time at the light then I turned

And I followed you out of the dark and that glow

I held your hand as you led me to our existance

I stopped you and asked, "always and forever?"

You smiled at me and said, "Yes angel"

"Always and forever. I won't let you go not ever!"

I walked with you and we held each other close

Then suddenly I was awakened and here

I remembered what you said and cried

Because in my heart I know you really do care.

My family were all around smiling at me

But all I keep thinking about is you, my Love

I know we'll always be there for each other

To me you are my angel sent from above.

I'm glad to be home and with my family

And I know soon you'll be home too

Everything is going to be all right now

We're soulmates, our love is real and true!

Confession

I have a confession

I need to make it now

Before I lose all faith

Or  forget the why's or how

I have fallen in love

I'm truly fallen deep

He's my soul-mate

He's one I will always keep

I can't imagine life alone

Not, now that he's there

He has shown me love

And I know he will always care

He saved me from myself

It's like a great flood

They have helped me grow

They feel my pain when I'm sad

They feel my joy when I'm happy

But their love for me is not a fad

When they're worried about me

But knowing they accept

Always helps me to see

They have welcomed me

And now call me their own
