I'm asking for help
But help I cannot seek
I'm falling in darkness
I feel so very weak

I almost forgot how to write

I almost forgot how to use my words

I almost forgot my inner sight!

I almost forgot I have a lot to give

I almost for who I am

I almost forgot to just live!

I almost forgot that it's okay to cry

I almost forgot to ask for help

I almost forgot the reason why?

I almost forgot a lot of things

I almost forgot why I am here

Then I look at you and my heart sings!

I will never forget the love we share

I will never forget what you mean to me

I will never forget how much you care!

Why not use that pretty little brain of yours?

You know there is hope for you yet!

Just use that brain and think your thoughts

And don't you worry, don't you fret!

Use that brain and write your words

Or say what you're thinking to those you love!

Don't worry about the ifs and buts

Just think of it as your gift from above.

So why not use that pretty little brain

You know it was put there for a reason

Don't think too hard, you might hurt yourself
