Why We Celebrate Christmas

So many think Christmas is about toys

They think it's all the wrapping and decorations

But what they don't know it's not about that

It's about the birth of Christ, a great celebration!

So many years ago a tiny baby was born

He was born to the virgin Mary to save us all

His name is Jesus of Nazareth, our Savior

He was put here to answer man's call

Christmas is not about all the frilly things

It's about celebrating the birth of Christ

It's about being together with family and friends

It's not cakes, candies, or anthing that's iced

We all must remember the true meaning

And try to keep Jesus in our hearts

Never forget why we celebrate

And never allow hate to tear us apart
