My Angel

My Angel be with me this day,
My faith is slowly drifting away,
I need a heavenly word from God
to help me through another day,
I know you are near as I read this Holy Bible,
sitting here,
the words inspire me to go on,
for the Bible says I am never alone,
I know I am loved,
for this I know,
my Bible tells me so,
I feel life has come back to me,
