My Twin Cousins

They're twins, the same yet so different

They are my cousins now and forever

I love them both like true family would

They love me and are oh so clever!

I often wonder where they were all my life

Why didn't I meet them before now?

I'm grateful for both my twin cousins

They never judge me, and never ask the why's or how

They will always love me for who I am

And they will never ask me to change...

They will defend me tooth and nail

And they joke with me, they say I'm strange!

They are my twin cousins, Lucien and Marius

I love them like we're blood related

From this day forward they belong to me

And I believe we were always family, it is fated!
