My heart skips a beat

And it's always oh so sweet

Mirror Mirror on the wall 

Who's the fairest one of all?

Be truthful with me, I must know

Am I beautiful and do I glow?

Mirror Mirror hanging low

Tell me all that I want to know

Will I ever be lovely as can be?

Please tell me what you do see

Mirror Mirror don't lie to me

I beg you to set my soul free

Am I beautiful or am I not?

Tell me please because I forgot

Never

I will never be enough

I have come to accept this

I will never be beautiful

I guess that's something I won't miss

I will never be cherished

Or loved or treated like gold

I will never know happiness

I guess this is why I grow cold

I will never be someone's dream

Because I'm just a faded memory

I will never be anyone of worth 

I guess all I am is what you see

Nowhere in the Present Tense

You fill the room with sweet sensation
distracting bits of information
crowd the space where logic dwells
distorting sights and sounds and smells
touching me with tactile pleasure
pushing me beyond a measure
of reasonable doubt that soon I sense
I'm nowhere in the present tense.

Do Not Assume

Do not assume that you know me

Even though you think you do

You don't know a thing 

You don't even have a clue!

What you see on the outside

Is just a small portrayal of me

But it isn't who I am on the inside

It's only what I want you to see.

Do not assume that you know me

Because you don't know a thing at all

Try to get to know me before you judge me

If you knock me down will I not fall?

What you see isn't what you get

It's only the image of a lost heart

A girl who has so much to give 

But nobody will ever give her a start.

Do not assume that you know me

Because nobody will ever get that close

For I have yet to live and give myself 

So what you know is only a small dose!

When I first met you
I felt like I had known you forever,
telling you my secrets
and what I didn't want ever.
You listened to me...
I bet you thought I'd never end,
who would have thought
we would become more than just friends.
Over a period of time,
I got to know the real you.
A boy so caring and gentle,
with a heart so true.
You've survived your life
with hurt and loneliness by your side.
I told you I'd never leave
because of the feelings I have inside.
I know you
like no one I have ever known,
and sometimes I wonder
what I'd do if you were gone?
So I have decided 
time answers all.
If it is meant to be
time will remove the wall.
I love the way we are together,
you can always make me smile.
Will it ever really be forever?
I guess I will have to wait awhile.
Time will reveal, what lies ahead
but always remember
what I have said.
Meeting you has changed my life
and I really love you so,
the feelings I feel for you
