Magic Night

The moon comes over the deep of the woods,
And the long, low dingles that hide in the hills,
Where the ancient beeches are moist with buds
Over the pools and the whimpering rills;

And with her the mists, like dryads that creep
From their oaks, or the spirits of pine-hid-springs,
Who hold, while the eyes of the world are asleep,
With the wind on the hills their gay revelings.

Down on the marshlands with flicker and glow
Wanders Will-o'-Wisp through the night,
Seeking for witch-gold lost long ago
By the glimmer of goblin latern-light.

The night is a sorceress, dusk-eyed and dear,
Akin to all eerie and elfin things,
Who weaves about us in meadow and mere
The spell of a hundred vanished Springs.

Rest

Come, rest awhile, and let us idly stray
In glimmering valleys, cool and far away.

Come from the greedy mart, the troubled street,
And listen to the music, faint and sweet,

That echoes ever to a listening ear,
Unheard by those who will not pause to hear?

The wayward chimes of memory's pensive bells,
Wind-blown o'er misty hills and curtained dells.

One step aside and dewy buds unclose
The sweetness of the violet and the rose;

Song and romance still linger in the green,
Emblossomed ways by you so seldom seen,

And near at hand, would you but see them, lie
All lovely things beloved in days gone by.

You have forgotten what it is to smile
In your too busy life? come, rest awhile.

Naked Together in the Grass

The sunrise saw me lying on a bed of scented grass
With you beside me breathing every breath I dared to pass;
The dove-like daggers delicately tickled at my cheek,
And me, so softly shedding every tear you cared to wreak.

The cold September sunshine spread its rays upon your brow

Evoking shadowed etchings that were all of here and now;
Your copper-colored countenance seemed silky while you slept,
Yet in the night the mist devoured our pleasures as it crept.

The bleak and barren moorland seemed to merge into the day -

A murky sheet of greens and browns that faltered where we lay;
And as we lay there naked we were molded with the earth,
The age, as always, timeless, as at macrocosm's birth.

The Human Child

Where dips the rocky highland
Of Sleuth Wood in the lake,
There lies a leafy island
Where flapping herons wake
The drowsy water-rats;
There we've hid our faery vats,
Full of berries
And of reddest stolen cherries.
Come away, Oh human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you

Can understand.

Where the wave of moonlight glosses

The dim gray sands with light,
Far off by furthest Rosses
We foot it all the night,
Weaving olden dances,
Mingling hands and mingling glances
'Til the moon has taken flight;
To and fro we leap
And chase the frothy bubbles,
While the world is full of troubles
And is anxious in its sleep.
Come away, Oh human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you

Can understand.

Where the wandering water gushes

From the hills above Glen-Car,.
In pools among the rushes
That scarce could bathe a star,
We seek for slumbering trout
And whispering in their ears
Give them unquiet dreams;
Leaning softly out
From ferns that drop their tears
Over the young streams.
Come away, Oh human child!
To to waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For to world's more full of weeping than you

Can understand.

Away with us he's going,

The solemn-eyed:
He'll hear no more the lowing
Of the calves on the warm hillside
Or the kettle on the hob
Sing peace into his breast,
Or see the brown mice bob
Round and round the oatmeal-chest.
For be comes, the human child,
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
from a world more full of weeping than you.

A Prayer of Nature

Grant me the moment, the lovely moment
That I may lean forth to see
The other buds, the other blooms,
The other leaves on the tree:

That I may take into my bosom
The breeze that is like his brother,
But stiller, lighter, whose faint laughter
Echoes the joy of the other.

Above on the blue and white cloud-spaces
There are small clouds at play.
I watch their remote, mysterious play-time
In the other far-away.

Grant that I may hear the small birds singing
The song that the silence knows...
(The Light and the Shadow whisper together,
The lovely moment grows,

Ripples into the air like water
Away and away without a sound,
And I now get up from my praying
On the cold grass covered ground)

What Nature Brings

The wonders of nature bring into full bloom
It's colors and signs of seasonal bliss
It draws the heart toward it's vividful views
And unto the things that it should not miss

It's creatures that are drawn out from their dens
Bring warmful views to the earth once more
That they would grow and produce in a thriving state
In abundance of all it's galore

I am Water

I celebrate myself
I am soft
I am water
I am radical - a bazaar paradox
Finding my truth and
Immersing in my substance
I am a river doing battle
Transforming
Evolving
And accepting myself
Drink my water and know me

Beauty Is...

Beauty is the sensation of your heart skipping a beat, when eyes full of mischief glance at you...
Beauty is the smile which appears on your lips, when you think of the way he smiles at you...
Beauty is the way he makes love to you, while touching your every curve
Beauty is the way he whispers in your ear, giving you a chill down your spine
Beauty is in the heart which touches another
Beauty is tender hands holding each other
Beauty is strong arms holding you warm
Beauty is in water, beauty is in weather,
beauty is in air, beauty is in life
Beauty is in love, beauty is in wind...
Beauty surrounds you days and nights
yet no one knows beauty's heights...

Through His Eyes

To look through his eyes
To see what he sees
When he looks upon me

To look through his eyes
And see the love he has
When he looks upon me

To look through his eyes
And see the angel he calls me
When he looks upon me

To look through his eyes
And know there is no-one else
When he looks upon me

To look through his eyes
And see a love so true
When he looks upon me

To look through his eyes
And know I am so loved
When he looks upon me

To look through his eyes
And feel so complete and whole
When he looks upon me

To look through his eyes
And see this girl that he sees
When he looks upon me

To look through his eyes
And see this glowing beauty
When he looks upon me

To look through his eyes
And to know my soul-mate
Is what it's like when he looks upon me

Before I Fade Away

The day light breaks again
Another day has begun.
But still no sleep has come.
My body is weary
My mind overworked.
I lie awake thinking
But what I am unsure.
I need to break free from the cycle I endure.
Everyday is the same and the nights are undistinguished.
I feel as though I am being pushed along with the tide
Unable to break free from the everyday flow.
This is not me I need to change, before time takes over
And I am unable to change.
I need to be freed from the grasp of ordinary
And become that person I have always longed for.
Express myself in every way, and conquer the dreams as I lie awake.
Then I may fall asleep and put my mind to rest.
Make changes in my life and help those in need.
I would like to touch everyone's life in a positive way
And leave my mark on society before I fade away.

Another Nursery Rhyme

Mary had a little frog.
The frog croaked every day.
And Mary always wondered
What the frog was trying to say.
To freshen up the critter's breath,
She fed the frog some mints.
And when she gave the frog a kiss,
It turned into a prince.
Mary and the prince were married,
And on that happy day,
Mary asked the prince just what
The frog had tried to say.
"Mary," said the handsome prince,
"I'm going to tell you true:
When the frog croaked it was saying,
"I love you"."

The Fantasy is You

All my life I had built up a fantasy
of the perfect man.
Countless romance stories and fables
helped make that fantasy a reality in my mind.
Searching for that fantasy lead to many
disappointments.
Reality made it clear that there was no such man.
And time went by, the fantasy started
to fade away - until I met you.
I had almost given up on the fantasy until
my fantasy became reality,
that reality became you.

My Little Angel Boy

When I hold my little one
All my troubles go away
All I want to do is protect him
And watch him grow each day

I look at his sweet little face
And I know an unconditional love
He is my little angel baby boy
Sent to me from Heaven above

I named him Noah Draven Black
Because of how he came to me
I will always love my little one
And help him to grow and to be

I will be there to protect him

And teach him how to behave
I will be the best parent I can be
And watch him grow to be brave

Every Day

Every day I spend with you is pure Heaven
I can't get enough of your touch, your love
I can't get enough of just being with you
You send me soaring to the Heaven's above

Every day with you is pure bliss to me
I love you more than words could say
You are my life, my love, my everything
I have loved you tomorrow, yesterday, and today

I can't imagine where I would be without you
Because you have made me whole
You have given me such love and happiness
You have even touched my soul

I know wherever I may be in this world
You will be right there with me too
To give me your love and your support
And to show me that your love is true

Be a Friend

Try bringing a smile to someone's face instead of a frown
Try bringing joy into their lives instead of bringing them down

Don't be that person that hates on everyone you see
Be that person that will allow others to be who they want to be

Give your friends near and far a reason to live
Be the one that has a lot of love and happiness to give

Try being the person you want all your friends to be to you
And show others that they can be as happy as you are too

So if you're friend is always sad and crying many tears
Wipe them away and tell them they have nothing to fear!

Be the friend to them that they will always need
Remember love always grows from the smallest seed!

Lightening

The skies grow dark
The lightening flashes through the night
We make love on the beach
You are all that is in my sight

As the lightening flashes
Our passion ingnites like a flame
The thunder booms like our love
Nothing will ever be the same

I look up at the dark sky
As we two become one
The lightening shines on us
Our love for each other will never be done.

Noah Draven Black

A little angel came to me
He had no family to love him
I knew he was meant to be mine
I will never let his life go dim

He is my beautiful baby boy
I adopted him just a day ago
I couldn't wait for my family to meet him
I knew they all would love him so

I gave him the name Noah
Because of how he came to me
I knew he was loved by his real parents
Because they died just so he could continue to be

Now I have this beautiful baby boy
And I will enjoy watching him grow
I love him so much already
And Draven loves him, I already know

This little angel, Noah Draven Black
He will always be my angel boy
I want to always be there to protect him
And give him nothing but love and joy

The Truth

I want to let you know,
to help you understand.
The truth might be confusing.
Not all of life is planned.

You came to me for reasons,
So young and blind was I.
High on hopes yet frightened.
I never questioned why.

I strived to do things right,
consumed by pain inside.
I knew that I had failed you.
I prayed you'd know I tried.

With odds that stacked against us,
we held our heads up high.
You wrapped your arms around me.
Our tears would soon be dry.

You never asked me questions,
so trusting I knew you knew best.
Just when I thought we found it,
came that aching in my chest.

"Not again" I pleaded.
I had failed you once before.
Your tears were filled with questions.
You expected so much more.

My words became so empty.
You knew what once you had.
I no longer could protect you.
You said, "Angel don't be sad"

So desperate and disgusted.
How could this really be?
You never would forgive me.
I prayed a silent plea.

No such prayer was needed.
You wiped away my tears.
Just the two of us together,
would conquer all our fears.

The truth is that I love you.
Your smile warms my heart.
We will always be together,
as we have been from the start

As We Walk

As we walk among the trees
Hand and hand us two
We remember where we come from
And what we used to do

We are in awe with the changes
That have come to each of us
Everything is so new, yet the same
We have changed without a fuss

No more will sorrow come to us
No more pain to come our way
Forever a life of joy and happiness
We'll remain as one to this day

As we walk among the trees
With the love we have in our hearts
We talk about how far we've come
And how nothing will ever tear us apart!

Move On

You threw away my friendship
Like I was nothing to you
Over a year of being your friend
Wasted because you were never true

I thought of you as my brother
But apparently I was a joke to you
I have moved on with my life
I wish you could do that too

You're putting down my family
Bashing me and them with wall posts
You say you're oh so innocent
But nothing but lies are your hosts

Why can't you just drop it?
Why must you continue being so low
Stop with your petty behavior
You obviously don't even know

You must think it's funny
To treat others bad like this
Just move on with you life
Since our friendship you don't miss

I tried to be your friend
I never wanted any of this
But you are blaming me for your faults
I forgot you're perfect, the lies I don't miss!
