My Dark Angel

Late when I can think of nothing

You, my dark angel are there in my mind

It's you and only you I'm thinking of

Sweet thoughts of the best kind

You're the one I dream of...

You're my dark angel, my darkest knight

You're the one who loves me

And I know you will day or night

I think of you, my dark angel

And if my thoughts should go grim

I think of the love we share

And the sad thoughts go dim

You're the kindest, sweetest guy

The one I love with all my heart

You're the reason why I live today

And the reason why the day does start

You're the song I hear when there's no music

My dark darkest angel, my only love

You're the reason why I will always be

You were sent to me from Heaven above

You're the the one I know I can turn to

When the blue skies turn gray

I know you'll always be there for me

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow and everyday

So my dark angel, this poem is for you

It's not the best, but it's from my heart
