Your words of hate
Have no power over me
Whatever you say
Will not be the true, you see
I am strong and I am me
I am beautiful in my own way
Do not try to bring me down
Do not try to bend my will today
I will always be who I am
Never will I bend to your will
I am me and so it must be
Words of hate must now be still
Nothing you do or say
Will ever hurt me again
I have my family and friends
And my love, all I can claim
