Then Why?

They say things happen for a reason

But if this is true then why?

I can't seem to answer this question

And it's not written in the sky...

　

So why do bad things happen to good people?

Why is the sky blue and not yellow?

When will the world truly end?

And why can't I start feeling mellow?

　

Some questions have no answers

And some answers can't be found

But if by chance you should solve the puzzle

Then it might actually have you feeling astound

　

I don't believe that things happen for a reason

Because if it did then I will be truly lost

Because some things that happened to me

Might be the soul and heart of me it'll cost

　

I want to believe but can't find it in me to do so

Because the hardest part is forgiving my past

And getting past all my sins...

And hoping this feeling will never last

　

I just wish someone would please answer me

Please someone tell me... then why?

I can't find them in my heart or soul

So then why? I really must know why...
