I'm No Angel

I'm not the angel you think I am

My halo is tarnished and a little dim

I try to remain angelic if I can

But sometimes things kind of go grim

I'm not perfect nor do I claim to be

I have a dark side that you've yet to see

But we all hide our secrets behind our masks

And I'm trying to just be the best I can be

I try to be happy, I try to smile too

I try to be there for all my friends

And I try to laugh more and not feel sad

I'll keep trying to do so until the very end

I'm no angel as you can plainly see

I'm just Stacey and I'm happy with this

Being me is all I was ever meant to be

And being with my friends can be such bliss
