Grief

Grief lives not in some dimly curtained place,
Where shadows hold the memory of your face;
Grief lives in quiet lakes at dusk,
In flowers against a sunny wall;
In willows bending in the rain,
In maples flaming in the Fall...
Grief walks into the private heart of me
With all the beauty... that you cannot see...
