Wind Dancer

Wind flowers strewn across the lawn
The wind dancer sings her sad song

She prays to the spirits for wind and rain
In her dance and prayers I can see her pain

She does her dance in moccasined feet
Keeping tempo with rhythm with the drum beat

Beads and feathers she does wear
In her songs you hear her pleads, her fear

Wind dancer please do sing a song for me
Keeping tempo and dance, be oh so free

Don't allow the wind or rain to die
Keep dancing, the spirits hear your cry

With each tempo the spirits will know
Seeds of love they must now sow
