Dove

I saw a snow white turtle dove

So peaceful and serene

I watched as it flew away

Until it could no longer be seen

　

I started to think peaceful thoughts

How beautiful and how grand

How fragile life could be

When held within God's hand

　

I hope and pray things will be okay

As I watched that dove take wing

I thought I could hear a little tune

And then I heard the Angels sing
