Out of The Darkness...

I started to walk to the end of the tunnel

But you grabbed my hand and said, "don't go"

I looked at you and I looked at the light I saw

And I said, "you can come with me too you know"

You grabbed me and pulled me in an embrace

You then said, "no, my angel we belong here"

I smiled at you and you hugged me tighter

I then said, "but would anyone really care?"

You gave me that look and you nodded your head

You pointed to the scene beyond our sight

You said, "look, they cry for me and you"

"Please, my angel do not go into that light."

I started to cry but you brushed away my tears

You pulled me closer and said you loved me so

I looked one last time at the light then I turned

And I followed you out of the dark and that glow

I held your hand as you led me to our existance

I stopped you and asked, "always and forever?"

You smiled at me and said, "Yes angel"

"Always and forever. I won't let you go not ever!"

I walked with you and we held each other close

Then suddenly I was awakened and here

I remembered what you said and cried

Because in my heart I know you really do care.

My family were all around smiling at me

But all I keep thinking about is you, my Love

I know we'll always be there for each other

To me you are my angel sent from above.

I'm glad to be home and with my family

And I know soon you'll be home too

Everything is going to be all right now

We're soulmates, our love is real and true!
