Hello old friend, you come to see me too soon

I'm not ready to give up yet, I have so much more to give 

Please come back in another 30 or 40 years 

Then I'll freely go with you. I will no longer live.

Hello old friend, why did you come to visit?

I told you I am not ready to go yet but you still stay

Why? Can't you see I still have life in me

And I have so much more to do and to say?

Hello old friend, I know you are here to take me

Since you are Death none the less...

But I'm not ready to go, I'm not ready to die
