Second Chance

I thought that my life was over

It felt like everything had come to an end

Then something happened to change that

Because it was him my first love did send

I didn't want to fall in love again

I tried to fight it with everything in me

But the more I talked to him I couldn't stop

And now because of him I can finally see

I was given a second chance at life and love

And I will cherish this with all that I am

Now my life has a new meaning to it 

I am grateful for this love... like holy damn!

I find myself missing him when he's gone

And wanting to be near him every day

He has given me a second chance

And I am his second chance in a way

I thought that my life was all over

But now I know that isn't at all true

Because I have him and he has me

And this love we have is all brand new!
