Deep Within Me

 Deep within the heart of me
Is a poet struggling to get out
She needs to break free these chains
She wants to scream and shout

She waits each day for her one true love
And when he comes she's in pure bliss
No one could touch her in her world
But there would be nothing that she would miss

Deep within the soul of me
Is an artist breaking free her earthly bonds
She wants to paint the world today
She waits to see if her only love will respond

When he finally does come to her
They ignite a fire with a burst of color
The world around them just disappears
Eventually it just gets smaller and smaller

Deep within the body of me
Is just a girl who wants to be loved
She waits for her lover to come to her
He was sent to her from Heaven above

She writes poems, and paints pictures
She does all this for her own peace of mind
She'll write and paint for his enjoyment and love
She has never known a love of this kind
