I Soar

As I leave this empty nest

I take wing and I fly

All the pain is left behind

No more will you see me cry

I soar to the heavens

I soar to the stars above

I'm free to be who I am

I'm flying on the wings of a dove

Everything that hurt me

Is no longer there

Just love and happiness

And the people that care
