On Fairy Wings, We Fly

Warm days of summer, with foolish dreams
Wisp me to a brook of whispering satin streams
Wrap me in a cloak of honeysuckle's delight
Ride me on a moonbeam, warm my winter's night

We'll play as leprechauns, string raindrops as pearls
Swing from a rainbow, become lollipops in swirls
We'll trellis the sky in streamers made of mink
And run with the thunder without even a blink

We'll sip a daydream, that from the night air falls
Through the narcotic breeze as tranquility calls
See violets that slumber inside speckled blues
As we paint our own world in pearlescent hues

When time needs a rest, and the sky starts to yawn
We'll snuggle on Jupiter or any planet we're on
We'll sprinkle our thoughts along sugar plum aisles
Eat bits of chocolate, as we polish our smiles
