Forgotten and left behind
Nobody seems to care any more
All my hopes and dreams dashed
And I don't even know what for?
Forgotten and left behind
Thrown away like yesterday's trash
Lost and alone all the time now
Everyone's gone in such a dash!
Forgotten and left behind
No room for anyone's heart
Sad, cold, and so alone
I feel as though I'm falling apart.
Forgotten and left behind
Family and friends have come and gone
Now I sit in this stark cold room alone
And I keep wondering what I did that was wrong?
