In spirit you were here with me

Your arms wrapped me in your embrace

I thought I would be oh so scared

But your spirit was with me in that place

I was able to feel your essence

I was able to feel your overwhelming love

Thank you so much for your protection

You are my angel sent to me from above

Your spirit kept me safe from all harm

I was able to get rid of some of my fears

I still was scared but I was comforted

Even though I did shed some tears

I know you'll always be there for me

I know you worry about me all the time

I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend
